Take a second to check out (and listen to) the Marantz Picture Book Collection now housed at Kent State University. There is a wonderful NPR interview with the Marantz’s and one of my favorite illustrators, David Macaulay (see pic above), about the selecting of Children’s Picture Books. I love listening to people who love books; you can just tell.
