I am loving Robyn O’Neil’s drawings. There is something so lonely about the work like they are drawings of the end of the world or something. They are rendered so beautifully. She is currently showing work at the American Folk Art Museum in NYC. The show is called, DARGERISM: CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS AND HENRY DARGER, which features Amy Cutler, Henry Darger, Jefferson Friedman, Anthony Goicolea, Trenton Doyle Hancock, Yun-Fei Ji, Justine Kurland, Justin Lieberman, Robyn O’Neil, Grayson Perry, Paula Rego, and Michael St. John. The show is basically about the influence of Henry Darger on contemporary art.
