The Art Newspaper has more details about why the Louvre exhibition seemed to have pieces mainly from the Louvre … And some clarification - it seems that the announced British Museum exhibition will be this one. Having hear Dr. John Curtis speak the other night - he identified an ‘iconic’ bearded head missing from Baghdad Museum as Trajan - I for one am very relieved by this news.
