Moma Exhibit - Design And The Elastic Mind

I visited MoMa on Thursday March 27th to see the exhibit entitled Design and the Elastic Mind. I perceived the focus of this exhibit and the overall layout of the exhibit to be an excellent experience for myself as well as anyone else. The artists created pieces that were so realistic and imposed on the viewers what the future might entail to some point. In my opinion the main point of this exhibit was to show what types of things we could see in the future and it is only with an elastic mind we could imagine that. I thought the title of the exhibit closely related to the pieces of art that were displayed. In the following paragraphs I will use examples of the artwork I saw to help prove my thesis that this exhibit was to show the viewers what we could see in the future as well as to let us expand our minds and way of seeing things.
