The Museum of Fine Arts Houston was the 20th most visited art museum in the world according to The Art Newspaper. Also, “Masterpieces of French Painting from the Met” at the MFAH last year was the fifth most visited exhibit with 574,207 viewers. “The Temptations of Flora: Jan van Huysum” “Red Hot Asian Art Today” and “Constructing a Poetic Universe” were also in the top visited exhibitions for the year. I only saw DFW poking it’s head up once with Ron Mueck at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. (via Art News Blog)
