Staph infections are on the rise. Not your average virus, some kids have died from it. That thought is very very sobering. It’s really caused me to rethink my happy go lucky, “Ah, heck, it’s just a shopping cart bar. One lick won’t kill anyone.”

I’m starting to wash hands before every sample my kids eat at Costco. There’s no more five second rule. If the food hits the floor, it’s gone. When we leave an indoor play area, or a museum, the first thing we do is wipe down. I’m not taking any chances.
